SAINT LOUIS MHB STAFF, SERENA MUHAMMAD, APPOINTED BY THE MAYOR,
TO SERVE ON THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS JOINT BOARDS OF HEALTH AND HOSPITALS
Saint Louis MHB is pleased to announce the appointment of their Director of Strategic Initiatives, Serena Muhammad, to serve on the City of St. Louis Joint Boards of Health and Hospitals. The City of St. Louis Joint Boards of Health and Hospitals is comprised of executive leaders within academia and health and human services all of whom are appointed by the Mayor. Ms. Muhammad will serve a four year term beginning in December 2020.
In her staff role with Saint Louis MHB, Ms. Muhammad focuses on alleviating the social, educational, and health inequities that keep people from reaching their full potential. She also leads MHB’s federal System of Care grant and the St. Louis Area Violence Prevention Commission.
In September 2020, Ms. Muhammad was appointed Regional Managing Director of the COVID-19 Regional Response Team as part of MHB’s loaned executive program.
