Terrell has been a MHB Trustee since December of 2013 and serves on MHB’s Executive Committee as the Chair and on the MHB Housing Committee as the Chair. He also serves on the MHB Nominating Committee, Personnel Committee, Finance Committee and Program Committee. An artist and writer, Terrell currently serves as Executive Director for Rise Community Development. Previously he was Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at Greenville University. Prior to his work at Greenville University, he served as Director for Contextualized Learning and Assistant Professor of Practical Theology for Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Terrell held Executive Director positions with North Newstead Association and CREATE, Inc. both of which focused programs on housing development projects within the city. Terrell also served with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department as a Police Officer and the Public Affairs Officer. Terrell represents the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood.
